2. Data processing on our website
2.1 Access to our website/access data
Every time you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits data to enable you to visit  the website. We collect this data automatically. 2.4 Order tariffs (GONEO.Cloud)
If you would like to purchase electricity from us, you can request an offer from us using the order  form. 2.6 Use of technically necessary cookies
Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device by the  browser. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600  Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to enable us to  analyze and improve our website based on user behavior. The data generated in this context can  be transferred by Google to a server in the USA for evaluation and stored there. 2.8.2 Google Display & Video 360 and Google Campaign Manager 360
We use the online marketing service “Display & Video 360” (formerly Double Click Bid Manager,  “DV360”) and the online marketing service “Campaign Manager 360” (formerly Double Click  Campaign Manager, “CM360”) from Google on our website. We process the data about your  behavior on our websites for marketing purposes and to deliver individually tailored advertising  messages. We also process data from the application process (e.g. reason for switching, payment  method, etc.) that you selected during your website visit to form user groups with comparable  behavior and to create remarketing lists. 2.8.3 Hotjar
Our website uses Hotjar, a web analysis service provided by Hotjar Ltd., Elia Zammit Street 3, St  Julians STJ 1000, Malta (“Hotjar”). So-called heat maps are created with Hotjar. Heat maps graphically display statistics about  mouse movements click on our site to analyze our website about your user behavior. 2.9 Use of cookies and similar technologies for online advertising
We also use cookies and similar technologies for advertising purposes. Some of the access data  generated when using our website is used for interest-based advertising. By analyzing and  evaluating this access data, we can show you personalized advertising on our website and the  websites of other providers. This means advertising that matches your interests and needs. The legal basis for the associated data processing is your consent by Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter  a) GDPR. 2.9.1 Google Ads
As a Google Ads customer, we also use Google Conversion Tracking on our website. This is a  service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA;  “Google”). As part of this service, a cookie is placed on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if  you come to our website via a Google ad. These types of cookies expire after 30 days and are not  used to identify you personally. If you visit certain of our pages and the cookie has not yet  expired, we and Google can use this cookie to recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was  redirected to our site. Since every AdWords customer receives a different cookie, it is not possible  to track the cookie across the websites of other AdWords customers. The purpose of using the  conversion cookie is to create so-called conversion statistics for AdWords customers. As an  AdWords customer, we only know the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were  redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag.
2.9.2 Google Remarketing and Google Similar Audiences
We also use Google Inc.'s remarketing technology on our website. By using this technology, it is  possible to renew users who have already visited our websites and online services and are  interested in the offer through targeted advertising on the pages of the Google Partner Network.  The advertising is displayed through the use of cookies. 2.9.3 Facebook Custom Audience and Facebook Connect For marketing purposes
Our websites also use so-called conversion and retargeting tags (also  “Facebook pixels”) from the social network Facebook, a service provided for users outside the  USA and Canada by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour,  Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”) and for all other users by Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo  Park, California 94025, USA (“Facebook”). We use Facebook pixels to analyze the general use of  our websites and to understand the effectiveness of Facebook advertising (“conversion”). We also  use Facebook pixels to show you individualized advertising messages based on your interests in  our products (“retargeting”). To do this, Facebook processes data that the service receives via  cookies, The data generated in this context can be transferred by Facebook to a server in the USA for  evaluation and stored there. If you are a member of Facebook and have allowed Facebook to do so via the privacy settings of  your account, Facebook can also link the information collected about your visit to us with your  member account and use it for the targeted placement of Facebook ads. 2.9.4 LinkedIn
Our website uses the technology of the provider LinkedIn Inc., 2029 Stierlin Ct. Ste. 200 Mountain  View, California 94043, USA (“LinkedIn”). With the help of so-called conversion tracking  technology, you can be shown advertising based on your interests. We also receive ad activity  from LinkedIn based on your interaction with our website. For this purpose, a LinkedIn Insight tag  is integrated into our website. This insight tag provides insights into post-click and view-through  conversions of our LinkedIn ad campaigns. LinkedIn Insight tag enables the collection of data about visits to the website (URL, referrer URL,  IP address, device and browser properties, timestamp). 2.9.5 Outbrain
Our website uses the technology of the provider Outbrain UK Ltd., 5 New Bridge Street, London,  EC4V 6JA, UK (“Outbrain”), which allows our users to access further content within our website  and on third-party websites that may also be of interest to them be pointed out. The additional reading recommendations integrated by Outbrain, for example below an article, are determined  based on the content the user has read so far. To display this interest-based additional content,  Outbrain uses cookies that are stored on the user's device. The content displayed in the Outbrain  widget is automatically controlled and delivered by Outbrain in terms of content and technology. Outbrain uses a cookie to create a unique user identifier, a UUID (Unique User Identifier). The  UUID represents a sequence of numbers and/or letters. Article recommendations are based on: (i)  browsing history; (ii) similar browsing patterns of other users; (ii) recommendations that are  popular with Outbrain's recipients at the time; (iv) a certain degree of randomness and (v) target  requirements from Outbrain's customers. To do this, Outbrain collects the following data in addition to a UUID: (i) IP address (is anonymized  according to industry standards); (ii) User agent data: device type (e.g. iPhone), browser type (e.g.  Chrome), operating system (e.g. iOS); (iii) the pages visited; (iv) the time of the visit and (v) the  referring URLs and other information normally transmitted in HTTP requests. The UUID is tied to your device and varies depending on the browser you use. In other words,  Outbrain collects different UUIDs depending on which device and/or browser you use to access  the partner's websites. This means, for example, that you have one UUID when you visit a partner  website from your mobile phone using the Safari browser, and a different UUID when you visit a  partner website from your iPad using the Safari browser. Outbrain combines and consolidates a  UUID from a mobile device (handheld device or tablet) from a browser, which then accesses an  application (or vice versa) from the same device. By assigning a UUID, Outbrain can combine the  pages visited and the clicks on Outbrain's recommendations from that UUID, all to provide  interesting recommendations. Outbrain displays reading recommendations using cookies on a  purely pseudonymous basis.
